How do I get placed on the agenda? |

All requests to address the Board must be received in writing no later than the Friday prior to the Board Meeting. Please provide your name, telephone number and the reason you wish to address the Board. This information can be mailed to the County Board Office at 1504 - Third Avenue in Rock Island, IL 61201 or faxed to (309) 786-4473. Many times, issues can be resolved by first addressing the committee. Please call the County Board Office for additional information at (309) 558-3605.

How do I get a permit for fireworks? |
| A: |
Firework Permits are available for those individuals who have an explosive device license, pay a $150 fee and complete an inspection by the Sheriff's Department. We require two week lead time to complete all necessary paperwork and inspections. Please contact the County Board Office at (309) 558-3605 for more information.

How do I get a Raffle Permit? |

Illinois Statutes do not allow a permit to be given for raffles unless all communities within the County have formed a consortium committee. As Rock Island County does not have a committee such as this, we do not license raffles and they are considered illegal.
