Fees - Effective May 11, 2009
The Schedule of fees is designed, primarily, to give outline of the fees that are required in civil and criminal cases. These fees are established by the Illinois General Assembly and the Circuit Court Clerk is mandated to collect them. The fees for Rock Island County Circuit Clerk are set forth in 705 ILCS 105/27.1.
Fees payable in advance in civil cases and are assessed upon conviction or a grant of supervision in criminal and traffic cases. Civil cases are filed only if the proper fees are remitted at the time of filing.
