Prevention is emphasized in all Public Health programs, and Health Education is incorporated into clinic visits, home visits, inspections, community and school presentations, media events, and other outreach efforts.
Health educators and other Public Health staff are available to speak to groups of all ages in settings such as schools, businesses, churches, and community gatherings.
Health Promotion is also accomplished by providing information and educational resources such as literature, videos and health data to professionals and consumers.
