We are now accepting e-filed documents for civil cases!
On November 7th, 2016 we began accepting electronic filings through eFileIL for most civil cases. E-filing will streamline and improve the speed for filing and processing documents. This will allow us to be completely paperless and be a full eRecord court. Criminal e-filing will begin very soon! Check back for additional information and details. Please click here for more information with the setup process, instructions and information from the Supreme Court regarding the e-filing mandate. The Supreme Court also approved Electronic Standards and Filing Principles for your review and guidance.
As of July 1st, 2019, all civil filing fees have changed! The fees of the Circuit Court are based on the new Public Act 100-987.
For a list of the new filing fees, please see our General Division Fees page.
The new Rock Island County Justice Center opened in the fall of 2018. We are thrilled to offer a Legal Self-Help Center, for your convenience. Among many resources available, we have computers and scanners available to assist you with your court filings and viewing court files. We also have many forms available and access to the standardized forms on the Illinois Supreme Courts website.
